My Bio
I am currently studying Illustration at NUCA, and am in my second year. My work tends to explore a darker theme, and I am interested in creating work that evokes and causes the viewer to look deeper than what they consiously would. I have always been a keen drawer, but have recently over the past couple of years, began to realise that drawing isn't the only way of making work. Illustration shouldn't only limit you to one media. So I take the opportunity to experiment with a variety of methods of working to create innovative work. I have most recently become interested in ghostly imagery, and have began looking at photography - abandoned aslyums, and addictively watching programmes such as Ghost Adventures! I am also interested in the idea of nostalgia, looking at the Victorian era, and really - anything spooky, creepy, curious and haunting. Including vampires. Literature has always been a great source for inspiration.
